Dolo, Via Ca` Tron, altitude 6 m/20 feet above sea level; train station at Dolo, 5 km/3 miles to the north. The villa is set on the north side of the Brenta Canal, opposite Villa Ferretti Angeli on the south bank.

The villa is located along the Ciclopista del Brenta bike route.

The villa is a reconstruction of the Palazzo Tron, originally constructed between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, but destroyed by fire in 1797. However, it had already been reconstructed by the time of the Napoleonic Cadastre [real estate records] of 1808.

The actual structure, smaller than the original, recalls the seventeenth century villa style with a central tripartite motif surmounted by a balcony and dormer windows. The only thing that remains of the original villa is an octagonal oratory.

The villa is in the middle of a large park. As a result of changing ownerships the villa is known also as Villa Carrara or as Villa Mioni.

Today the villa is an elegant residence offering short-term rental of three apartments and a few rooms.
